More things about NeoCities...

You can't have directories, as far as I can work out. It's not a fatal flaw and it's one way to cut down on URL lengths, I guess. It'll make for a cluttered mess in your one and only directory though.

What perhaps is fatal though is there seems no way to save data to the server (other than via your console). It means people can't leave comments for instance, or a game keep the players' high scores.

Ideally, there'd be some way for a NeoCities' site to know if a visitor is from another NeoCities' site. (At the discretion of the visitor.) That could create communities here. Without that though, NeoCities will just be a way to have a very low-featured website.

Things I've learnt about NeoCities so far...

I didn't think I'd have anything to put here on my first day of trying NeoCities - but then I hit a problem straight away with their editor...

I created a test page and saved it with a file-name ending in a number. Then I edited it and saved it again. This created a second page with the number removed from the file-name! And this new page contained the edited version, the original one ending in a number having the original content.

What this means is if you create a page with a file-name ending in numerals, you won't be able to edit it with the NeoCities' editor! Kinda annoying...
